CHROME.

The CHROME series was launched at the end of 2023, driven by a fundamental question: what if the portraitist's gaze could be rethought? What if the exploration went beyond the human face to focus on shapes, textures, and materials as the main subjects?

Alongside Maxime Vanderlinden for styling, Ludovic Lyne reinvents the image. The photographer becomes an architect, the stylist becomes a builder. Together, they go beyond light to sculpt space, play with structure and embrace deconstruction.

CHROME asserts itself as a fashion series where looks become protagonists, merging textures and materials with audacity and visual power. Each image is conceived as a construction, where each detail contributes to a singular and assertive aesthetic.

The series is fueled by unique, intense, and international encounters. Faces and personalities from around the world participate, infusing each image with a human and creative dimension that transcends mere photography. CHROME thus becomes a true vision, a universe in its own right.

In 2024, the series was honored with the prestigious QEP (Qualified European Photographer) distinction, recognizing the quality and innovation of this photographic approach.
